As you might know, a magnitude 7.2 earthquake struck southwestern Haiti on August 14th, 2021. The earthquake unfortunately caused at least 2,248 deaths and left close to 13,000 people injured.
We soon reached out to our contact person in the area of Au Cayes to assess the needs and to see how we could help out the best and the most efficient way. The solution was to transfer funds collected so far to our person of contact where he could buy and distribute food to the people in need.
